This Christmas season, the Downtown Lebanon Square merchants are coming together to create a magical atmosphere for the entire community!
From 10am - 6pm, Sip, Shop, and Stroll your way through Downtown Lebanon as you explore unique stores, boutiques, and charming shops, each offering special festive treats or exclusive holiday specials.
From 2-4 PM, indulge in a flurry of free kids activities that promise to create lasting memories and spread holiday cheer. We'll have Storytime with Sandy Claus, Selfies with Santa, Face painting with Imagine That! Art Studio, Cookie Decorating with Polly Sparrow Bakery and Balloon Art!
Save the date and join us on the Square for a day filled with holiday enchantment. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a joyful season!

fighting, and food as we prepare for the holidays.
The Mt. Juliet Parks & Recreation's Tennessee Christmas Parade will begin at 11 a.m. from Two Rivers Ford Park (Mt. Juliet League) off of Lebanon Rd. It will proceed south down N. Mt. Juliet Rd. to East Division Street where the parade will conclude. Tens of thousands will watch as 80 floats pass by, including the Grand Marshal, Retiring Mt. Juliet Police Department Chief James Hambrick.
Come out to "Trolley Parton" on Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th from 11am-4pm for free Piggy Mac tastings, giveaways, and a chance to purchase gift cards and merchandise at the lowest prices of the year! You are invited to usher in the holiday season with a special Christmastime evening tour of Oaklands Mansion on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. The evening, presented by First Bank, will feature Oaklands Mansion dressed in all its holiday splendor.
Murfreesboro Little Theatre members will be found throughout the mansion sharing short stories and special tidbits of information about the historic structure. Oaklands staff and board members will also be present to greet you and further discuss this nationally registered historic site and its impact on our community.
Santa will greet guests of all ages in the front parlor for photographs. Elaine Winters and Rob Pearcy from The Home Sweet Home Band will play Christmas standards and old holiday favorites. Local food trucks will be parked at Oaklands Mansion where outdoor seating will be provided as well as a self-serve s’mores bar. Oaklands Museum Shop will be open for unique holiday shopping.
Admission is $25.00 per adult and $10.00 per student ages 6-12. The evening is free for ages 5 and under. Please purchase admission online using the button above, or in the museum shop by 4:00PM Friday, December 8th.
The First Annual Hometown Christmas Village event on December 9th, 9am-3pm located at 159 Ag Center Lane, Carthage, TN at the The Carson Maxwell Livestock Arena.
Come out for a Living Nativity drive-through experience this Christmas season. Experience the Nativity Story by tuning your radio to a narrated Nativity story while driving through the scenes of the first Christmas.

Tennessee is home to over 27,000 recorded archaeological sites, with artifacts stretching from the historic period back to the end of the last Ice Age!
On December 9, the public is invited to bring archaeological objects they have discovered to the Long Hunter State Park Visitor Center and expert staff from the Tennessee Division of Archaeology will help identify them.
The free program will focus on materials from both the pre-contact and historical periods. Artifacts will be examined on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants should please limit their collections to no more than 20 objects.
The archeologists will provide insights and identifications of items but will not appraise or speculate about their value.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listenin’? Their magical holiday event is back for another year of live carols, delectable cookies and festive crafts! Come out for this family-friendly free event on Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Local choirs will perform carol favorites to spread holiday cheer throughout the day. Holiday sweaters and festive wear are welcomed.
Craft activities include reindeer hats and popsicle stick ornaments. Hot cocoa and, of course, scrumptious cookies will be provided. There will be a holiday Storytime every hour on the half hour in the Children’s Gallery beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The following music groups will be performing at various times throughout the day: Lacappella, Nashville Horn Hang, Metro Nashville Chorus , Cremona Strings, Grand Old Dulcimer Club, and Franklin Brass Quartet.
